Our Vuno oil is harvested and bottled daily in small batches. Probably some of the smallest batches sold commercially ever. Batches are made from between 3-45 trees. Batch 1 will taste different from batch 28, depending on the location, number of trees, and ripeness of the olive on the harvest date. Each batch is 100% traceable to the trees of origin. Check out which batch you receive and go to ‘Traceability Efforts’ to see the trees on our map. We recommend this oil for artisanal food lovers and connoisseurs who want to taste differences in notes between batches.
Our Kaninë oil is a blend from a variety of small harvests done throughout the course of October 2025. Each bottle will taste the same. Made from a rare Kalinjot olive variant that is indigenous to and found only in southern Albania. Still a small production as far as normal productions go. Olives were only harvested from one small village. Not mixed from other locations or harvest times. We recommend this oil for those who want a consistency in taste each time they use the oil, but are still looking for an early harvest, healthy EVOO.
Everything! We don’t cook without it. From frying eggs in the morning, pasta sauces, grilling meats and seafood, salad dressings, and bread dipping. We take a spoon in the morning for our health and drizzle it over veggies and cheeses. Don’t let the smoke point myth fool you — folks in the Mediterranean cook everything with olive oil.
We work directly with widows and other elderly people in our village who need help harvesting their trees. We harvest the trees with our team, process the olives the same day, and deliver half the oil made to the owner of the trees. Otherwise, their trees would go unharvested and they wouldn’t have enough oil for their year. We had so many people asking us to harvest their trees, but could only commit to so many as we didn’t have many workers.
We only harvested strictly in October 2025. Our shelf life is about 24 months, however, the fresher the better! Right now in supermarkets, the expensive oils being sold are from 2022 and 2023 harvests.
Our EVOO is pure, 100% extra virgin olive oil. No additives. No blending.
Our prices reflect artisanal, mindful food product prices. We are a very small business and we do not mass produce nor have the ability to. We bought all of our equipment, hired workers, paid for a place for our workers to stay, and paid for their food everyday. Everyday we paid our local olive oil press to make our oil in very small batches to commit to quality and our mission. The bottles, labels, and staff all cost money. It was very expensive to ship across the world in a container, and tariffs were very high. Even if we sell all of our oil this season, we are not making a high profit. Bigger companies have the means to mass produce, blend, and charge less for a lesser quality olive oil.
